ARMIES OF LIGHT & DARKNESS

The Prophecy
... it was the dawn of the 4th age when Adara, Princess of the Woodelves, recieved a vision from the higher planes about what will come to pass:
Darkness claimed the middle world and declared war to the beings of light, the holy guardians and guides of mortals and semimortals.
Both sides will choose their champions for the ultimate apocalyptic battle... The Battle between:
Armies of Light and Darkness

The Ascendant
... it was after the battle... the noble knight stood in the midst of slain corpses ... orcs ... drowelevels ... evil wizards ... and ... and his comrades.
While looking at the dead bodies of his friends he began to cry... he began to SCREAM.

Why was he alive? He had no right to live... all his friends died in battle: The Archer Sheila from the Woodelves, Brá'zuk the dwarven warrior and Sir Sadge his BladeBrother...

... while he was full of sadness and pain he didn't noticed the light which was shining on him.
A voice spoke:"Dear Knight, you must not suffer then look, your friends are now with us at the higher planes. They left their bodies and are now within the light, they are all well."

and the Knight, touched by the holy light which was surrounding him now, answered:"I see and I am happy that my friends are save... but let me ask you... during the battle when we needed you the most, where were you? WHERE WERE YOU? (and he cried again)"

... with saying this the light got stronger and he recognized the voice as a being of light. And the Angel spoke to him again:
I was always at your side and was never away.
Now you have to choose:
You can stay here and suffer and let hate possess you until you are nothing but hate and pain...

or you come with me as an ascendant, one of the champions of light which will fight darkness at the eastern plains in the near future...
... and the angel showed him what will come to pass... recognizing that fate granted him another chance his will and strength returned to him and he followed the Angel to the higher planes to prepare for the ultimate battle...

This way the beings of light searched for their champions: Noble souls, who valued honor and life and who were ready to defend all that was good even if it would cost their own life...
