PS Black N' White problem

So I went to load up PS only to find no colors worked, only variations of black white and gray. When I went to channels it said "Gray" but I couldn't delete it. This was just a white canvas. How can I get my colors back?
I'm running an "acquired" version of CS2. It hasn't given me problems before though.

DELETE - Figured it out.

Go to Image>Mode Change it from grayscale to RGB or CMYK.
