hmm you don't have to use brushes you can go and look in custom shapes and just apply those like you would any vector brush. more variety that way or so i think.

Personally I think you try true vectoring first instead of just slapping shapes/brushes in.
Go here: http://www.mickm.com/index.php?section=tutorials&id=99
If you do this you won't need to rely on brushes so much

well done for a first try, maybe try to create more flow with the brushes, although it is hard with a limited supply, so maybe dl lots of vectoring brushes

vector = pen tool
in a simple way

Dont try to use vector brush since they are not true vector. Vector work mean you can do something in 400/400 and rezise it into a 300000/300000 canvas size and you will lost 0 defenition. Because the vector shapes follow some maths ruls, when you draw a shape, every chapes have is own ... maths formula. So when you resize the shapes the formula just change and the pixel just follow it .... there is better defenition on the internet just search for vector shapes defenition.

You will always have better outcome whit true vector since everything you do is 100% custom, but also 100$ YOUR WORK. You are getting more credits for the work instead of just placing pre-made shapes on a canvas.

I recommend to try Dreamon's Vector Brushes!
Search in devART, also Shapes can also be done by pentool ^^

Looks great but the topaz filter on the sig is too much for the text and the outline of the vectors.
